What were you doing before the course?
Web design, software interface design and coding. I was looking to leave freelance so I'd had a few successful interviews but wanted to pursue the design, rather than development side of things.

What motivated you to do this course now?
A friend took the course and spoke very highly of it. Several years ago an acquaintance said he was studying part-time here and, again, spoke highly of the course.

Have you had any previous graphic design experience?
No formal training, two internships – one at a small ad company and the other a marketing role. After these I set up a business with two partners and was pushed into graphics.

What do you like about the course?
Realistic briefs, good mix of exercises, lectures and practical projects. Restricted parameters of the briefs lets you learn and expand skills with theory.The learning is incremental, long and short-form teaching broken up well by informal critiques and help from tutors to address your specific needs / misunderstandings.
